Demonstration & School Case Study

Mr Clarence Kwan

Shun Tak Fraternal Association Seaward Woo College

As a teacher who is familiar with AI technology, I’m amazed by LingoTask’s handwriting recognition, which surpasses even Amazon’s Textract in accuracy. I particularly love the system of error correction, where students are prompted to review potential mistakes before submitting their work. This can increase their grammatical awareness. I find that the marking system quite accurately align with the DSE rubrics, and different marking instances consistently fall within the range of the appropriate DSE level. My students found the feedback and comments valuable for their improvement and learn quickly by reading the personalised essay. Since implementing LingoTask, I notice students have become more active in asking questions about both writing techniques and grammar points, and I can envision that they should be able to use the tool to review their writing objectively. I am grateful to see this change in their learning attitude and I thank LingoTask for that.
